May 23^rd, 2014 at Tien Giang Convention Center, Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee held a preliminary conference and praised the work of ensuring security in the area of Tien Giang. Vice Chairman of Tien Giang province hosted the conference, also there were the attendances of the leadership of authorities such as the provincial police chief, Chief of TIZA, .... Mr. Weng Ming Zhao - Chairman of Long Jiang industrial.

At the conference, Tien Giang province leaders stated: on May 13^th, 2014 in Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces occurred outbreaks and the looting foreign investment enterprises. Shortly after receiving this information, the Provincial Committee and government of Tien Giang quickly made an emergency response plan, the Security Steering Board established and lead by Nguyen Van Khang - Chairman of Tien Giang province. The entire political apparatus is mobilized for security and order, with the main objective is to ensure the safety of workers and assets of the foreign enterprises in the province Tien Giang in general, and in industrial areas in particular among them in Long Jiang industrial Park. Thanks to the resolute leadership along with the determined plans of Tien Giang Provincial Committee and government helped industrial areas not under attack as well as direct damage. Tien Giang leaders and leaders of the security police made a commitment to ensure absolute safety of lives and property for foreign enterprises and employees in the province. During the conference, functional departments summarized experiences in the past of Tien Giang province, also exchanged and oriented follow-up measures in the assurance of security.

Mr. Weng thanks credibility and support of Tien Giang province, he expressed that the company will exert in positive coordination to ensure security in the province of Tien Giang. He also hoped that Tien Giang province based on outstanding achievement after completion of the security work of the previous period, and continued exerting to give measures to ensure the safety of workers and assets in Long Jiang industrial Park as well as enterprises in the future.

Until now Long Jiang Industrial Park considers that establishing safety work is one of the most important tasks in the region. Through this work, coordination method between Long Jiang security and Tien Giang police force that previously can be applied effectively by Long Jiang. In this event, IP quickly launched emergency response plans, determinedly based on the police forces and local authorities, make plans to ensure the security efficiently and positively, and protect the benefits of the enterprises and industrial park in the area at the highest efforts. The incident occurred this time, IP was not attacked directly. At the present,  building, operations and production of enterprises still take place in usual and stable .

On April 23rd 2014, SANQI (VIETNAM) NEW MATERIAL CO., LTD was issued the Investment Certificate No. 532043000048 by TIZA. Sanqi company specializes in manufacturing and processing kinds of non-woven products. Capital investment of the project is $ 10 million, leasing area of 16,500m2 at Lot 120A - Long Jiang Industrial Park, Tan Lap 1, Tan Phuoc, Tien Giang Province. It is expected that from June 2015 the factory will start in operation. After operating, Sanqi (Vietnam) New Material Co., Ltd will create jobs and raise the local socio-economic development.

On April 28^th 2014, conference on promoting investment in Tien Giang and Long Jiang Industrial Park for the 2014-2015 period was held at the Convention Center in Tien Giang province. Panelist included: Mr. Le Hong Quang - Deputy Secretary of Tien Giang, Nguyen Van Khang - Chairman of Tien Giang province and three vice presidents presided at the meeting. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Chai Wen Rui - General Consulate of China in HCMC, the representatives from foreign diplomatic agencies in Vietnam, trade association and many other countries, total more than 370 people.

At the conference, the People's Committee of Tien Giang province introduced the potential for development, the investment incentive policies and investment environment for businesses to invest in Tien Giang province. 24 items calling for investment of Tien Giang province with a total investment of 45,000 billion (approximately U.S. $ 2,140 million) were introduced. In particular, the introduction of Long Jiang situation to the conference attendees was presented. Besides the introduction of tax incentives for investors, Nguyen Van Khang - Chairman of Tien Giang province also committed to improving the infrastructure system, creating favorable conditions in the approving administrative works, training labor ....

Mr. Weng Ming Zhao - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Long Jiang Industrial Park presented a speech, Mr. Yu Suo - General Director of Long Jiang Industrial Park introduced policies and preferential conditions to attract investment in Long Jiang industrial. At the same time, welcome the intention of investment in Long Jiang Industrial Park that has received positive feedback from enterprises present at the conference. After the conference, there are 20 enterprises which intend to invest visited and surveyed in Long Jiang Industrial Park.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khang - Chairman of Tien Giang province granted investment certificates to 08 new investors with a total investment of 3,000 billion including 04 investors in Long Giang Industrial Park, in addition Tien Jiang has approved 03 investment policies with a total investment of 11,000 billion.

Conference on promoting investment in Tien Giang and Long Jiang Industrial Park for the 2014-2015 period ended successfully. This is also the investment promotion conference first by Tien Giang provincial government in cooperation with enterprise and has received good evaluation from the attending representatives. After the conference, the major media in Vietnam along with the press coverage and that has received good response from society.

On April 27^th 2014, in Can Tho, Union of Vietnam Businessman Science in collaboration with Southwest Steering Committee and Department of Intellectual Property of Vietnam held a ceremony to announce famous brands at the Communication program in Mekong Delta in 2014. Long Jiang IP was selected in Top 10 famous brands in Mekong Delta in 2014. Mr. Tang Zhen Yu – Representative of Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Co. - Deputy General Director attended the ceremony.

On April 23^rd  2014, Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Co.,Ltd was issued investment certificate no. 53121000179 by Tien Giang People's Committee for establishing investment project of pier to serve Long Jiang with duration 43 years .

The pier will meet the needs of transportation of materials for construction , such as sand , stone , cement , iron , steel ... and all kinds of machinery and equipment for production; serving up and down the goods of enterprises in Long Jiang IP. Investment capital of the project is 60 billion; the scope is 67,863m² in Tan Lap 1 Commune, Tan Phuoc District, Tien Giang Province, located next to the Long Jiang Industrial Park. Construction of project divided into three stages, is expected until June 2016 can put into operation of stage one. After that, the pier will solve significantly transportation needs in the region, bringing high economic efficiency.
