On September 12, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh and Deputy Prime Minister of the State Council of China Truong Cao Le and leaders of ASEAN countries attended the opening ceremony of China-ASEAN trading exhibition (CAEXPO) and Conference of the 14th China-Asean Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) in China.

In the exhibition, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh expressed that China - Asean Exhibition was an important event on 50 years anniversaryof Asean establishment; it mentioned the advantages for the cooperation between Asean and China; it also affirmed that China - Asean Exhibition and China - Asean Business and Investment Summit Conference contributed to the growth of Asean - China strategic partner relationship. Vietnam always appreciated the exhibitions.

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh introduced potentiality and determination of Vietnam to intergrate and contribute into common matters in area and global. He also said that Vietnam always appreciates and supports Asean - China cooperation; to be the bridge between Asean and China, together with Asean countries to promote the cooperation in peace, to offer solutions for the benefits of parties and for the growth and the prosperity in area.

Member of the standing committee of Political Ministry, Deputy Prime Minister of the State Council of China Truong Cao Le also expressed the importance of cooperation relationship with Asean, he simultanously proposed policies in future, especially to consolidate political belief for the cooperation in economic, human resource.

In the morning August 31st, 2017, Planning and Investment Department and Tien Giang Industrial Zone Authority (TIZA) had signed the cooperation mechanism agreement on investment procedures and business registration of foreign investors in Tien Giang in accordance with Circular 02/2017/TT-BKHĐT dated April 18, 2017 by Planning and Investment Ministry, one door mechanism for short.

The investors may choose business registration according to one door mechanism regulated in the Circular 02/2017/TT-BKHĐT or according to Investment Law, Business Law and other gudances to solve one by one.

Minister and director of Government’s Office, Mr, Mai Tien Dung said that Government shall decrease the input expense for enterprises because total of unsold administrative formalities are now up to 5,719 sets.

 The spokeman of Government said that, in the morning of August 3rd, under the instruction of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Government discussed reducing input cost for business, taxes and fees such as road tolls through BOT station, to reduce customs procedure and fees as well as administration...; At the same time the Government confirmed the determination to achieve growth of 6,7% this year.

The spokeman of Government added, the Prime Minister has assigned the Ministry of Finance continue to study and remove difficulties for businesses through policies on taxes, fees ... to help businesses cut back cost, develop the market, compete effectively.

Along with that, ministries and localities continue to speed up the reform of administrative procedures, focus on solving difficulties, creating favorable conditions for business development, especially promoting the progress of implementation of Resolution 19, Resolution 35, and Directives of the Prime Minister, such as strengthening tax declaration and payment; step by step to reduce the rate of specialized inspection of the customs clearance period from 30-35% to 15%; to reduce costs associated with import-export procedures to reduce the burden on businesses.

The Prime Minister assigned the State Bank to reduce the lending interest rates to reduce the cost of capital for businesses; At the same time, to consider and study the appropriate mobilization of gold and foreign currency sources among the population. To focus on credit for priority sectors (agriculture, export, supporting industries, small and medium enterprises, hi-tech enterprises ...); to guarantee to increase credit as plan to growth promotion.

Exchange with the reporter, Deputy General Director of General tax department, Mr. Nguyen Dai Tri showed that the purpose of program is to create favorable conditions for enterprises to approach easily supportive information channels of the tax department, to complete administrative procedures quickly, conviently and economically; to share and accompany enterprises to make them feel safe in trading. Then, enterprises could approach supportive informations, guidances from the establishment stage to declaration and application of tax, using the invoices and balance book.

For more easy approach, tax department opened private channels such as: to set up direct supportive points, provide phone number, email address. Especially, tax department established the program “To accompany startup enterprises” on website of General tax department and 63 tax departments of other areas. The program should provide fully important informations to enterprises; at the same time, the enterprises could send requirements to tax departments for the instructions.

The commitment of opening market up to more 99% of numbers of tax line and turnover, goods for export are applied 0%, Vietnam - EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) is expected to be in valid in 2018 and bring many benefits and opportuinties for enterprises.

Minister of Industry and Commerce Ministry, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh assumed that when the Agreement is signed and effetive in 2018, Vietnam could be the biggest trade partner of EU in Asean.
