May 29, 2017, Doan Gioi Secondary School held a ceremony of 2016-2017 year-end sumation. During the closing ceremony, Mr. Tang Zhen Yu - Deputy General Director of Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Co.,Ltd. has awarded 10 “Long Jiang scholarships”  to students.

This scholarship is being presented by Long Jiang during the past 7 years. This expresses Long Jiang’s  interest for the development of education in Tien Giang Province.

At the online conference of 5th Information - Statistics of Finance on May 24, 2017, Deputy General Director of Tax Department Nguyen Dai Tri said that electronic tax helped tax to provide services professionally, conveniently and safely for people and business.

In 2017, Tax general department shall maintain to operate, upgrade electronic tax system to meet the newest policy.

At the present, enterprises do not need to come to tax department to apply the document. Tax department also uses the electronic invoice which save cost and time for people and business. Finance Ministry instructs Tax General department to complete legal documents to deploy electronic invoice thoroughly into 2 stages: 1st stage (2017-2018), and 2nd stage (2018-2020).

On May 30, 2017, Tan Phuoc People’s Committee held a meeting on clearance of corridor violation of road traffic according to Plan no 229/KH-UBND dated April 12, 2014 of District People’s Committee. After one month, district departments discovered 979 cases violated such as: selling on the pavement, adevertisement board, roof, fence, tent or plant occupied pavement of road traffic on national road 865, 866, 867 and other roads.

At the meeting, leaders of district suggested the departments to settle thoroughly violating cases. Communes and towns must have a plan to prevent promptly not to re-occupy or raise other cases according to the principle “determination, patience, absolution, legality”.

On this occasion, District People’s Committee offered certificates to 04 groups met good achievements in clearing the corridor violation of road traffic in 2017.

This is a good signal when two leaders have determined to increase the turnover. At the same time, import from China has been reduced to balance the trading market between two countries.
