At 13h30 dated April 20, 2017 at the Meeting room no.1 - Tan Phuoc People’s Committee, Steering Committee of Tan Phuoc Occupational Safety and Health hold a training on the first Occupational Safety and Health in 2017. Presided by Mr. Tran Van Nhan - Deputy Chairman of District People’s Committee - Head of Steering Committee. Participants included: TIZA, Leader of Long Jiang Industrial Park Development Co.,Ltd and other Agencies.

Mr. Tran Van Nhan made a speech at the opening and stated the purpose of the month of Occupational Safety and Health in 2017 in Long Jiang IP: deploy the theme of the month of action on occupational safety and health; implement the provisions of Law on occupational safety and health; requirements and directions in occupational safety and health; implement goals for improving working conditions.

The training received a lot of constructive comments, agencies are determined to promote the target, reduce occupational accidents, occupational diseases, build a civilized lifestyle and safety culture at workplace.

According to the article dated April 19, 2017 on website of Tien Giang Tax Department: 

“A number of enterprises administered by Tien Giang Tax Department showed that recently, some people had posed on as Tax Personnel and called to notify the inspection plan for decrease the responsibility of violating tax law. 

Moreover, to take advantage of changing tax policy or through dialoge conference and disseminating policy held by tax department... some people had posed on tax personnel to threaten enterprises to buy tax book, training documents...

In the face of cheating action, to prevent timely violating the law, Tien Giang Tax department suggests enterprises to be vigilant over this behavior.

In case of receiving or seeing the informations of posing on tax personnel to come or call to enterprises, taxpayer should let the tax department know to solve the situation timely. Please call 0733.884.870 (tax inspection - Tien Giang Tax Department) ”

In the morning of April 25, 2017, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and China Committe of Promotion of International Trade of Zhe Jiang province (CCPIT) held a conference fo economic cooperation Vietnam - China

At the conference, PhD Pham Thi Thu Hang - General Secretary of VCCI stated: “This is an occasion for Vietnam and China enterprises to understand more about the cooperation demand, promote more and more Chinese enterprieses to invest in Vietnam”. According to the statistic of Vietnam Customs in 2016, China is both the biggest trading partner and import market in Vietnam; as well as is the second export market in Vietnam.

Mr. Huang Xiao Hang - Deputy Chairman of CCPIT of ZheJiang told that according to China Customs in 2016, Vietnam gets be the biggest trading partner of China in ASEAN and the ninth partner over the world with the total bilateral turnover of USD 98,2 billion.

In the conference, Mr. Nguyen Noi - Vice Director of Foreign Investment Department said: “Vietnam always creates convenient condition for foreign investors in general and Chinese enterprises in particular to invest more in industry, especially supplementary industry with modern and closed with environment”. This is the fields that Chinese enterprises is in a strong position in global value sequence fit to cooperation demand of Vietnam.

On the occasion of foreign economy special issue on potentiality, strong point of Tien Giang for welcome APEC 2017 in Da Nang. At the interview, Mr. Yu Suo said that in past 10 years, Long Jiang IP was attracted successfully 36 big and small projects from many countries: China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, HongKong, Vietnam... with total capital of more than USD 1,2 billion and total leased area of 75%. 

Mr. Yu Suo told that strong points and successful attraction in calling investment are:

+ Supported by Government, especially Tien Giang Government in past years.

+ Long Jiang is located convenient traffic, that is easy for transport and trading between regions.

+ Completed and overall infrastructure system in Long Jiang IP: road, power station, internet, clean water, waste water treatment plant....

+ Cost for lease is less than of 30% compared to equivalent industrial parks.

+ Located in region which enjoys attrative tax incentive policy, abundant and skill....

Besides, there are some difficulites in calling investment: clearance and compensation, with support of Government and local Government difficulties are solved.

To continue in deploying advantages, Long Jiang is always with partners to overcome difficulties to reach the success; protect environment is the priority; connect closely with benefit of local people for improve their life.

In the afternoon of April 21st, 2017, at the Headquarters of Government, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had a meeting with Mrs. Thai Boi Quan - Executive General Director of Bao Thanh Group (Taiwan, Chinese).

At the meeting, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that Vietnam Government always facilitates for investors to do business successfully in Vietnam and makes every effort in creating stable macroeconomic environment;  and creates favorable conditions for the economic sectors to invest, trading and production in Viet Nam.
