At 7AM dated May 6, 2017 Tien Giang Industrial Zone Authority and Tien Giang Labor Union had held a launch of Worker Month in 2017 in front of Vietnam Honoroad Edible Oil Co.,Ltd in Long Jiang IP.

Theme of worker month: “Labor union goes with enterprise: increase labor productivity; ensure the benefits for members of union and employee” implemented overall at all union levels in country.

In particular, the program “Tet festival” was implemented simultanously in all provinces and cities throughout the country, creating a strong spread and become a typical activity demonstrating the role of Vietnam union to take care of life, material and spirit for members and workers.

The General Confederation shall also sign a welfare program for union members and workers with some of enterprises so that union members shall enjoy discounts on services and products. 

The main content of the Plan of the provincial People's Committee have been promulgated as follows: to support, to serve businesses, investors; To focus on improving the investment environment, business and administration ... in order to create a favorable environment for the development of enterprises; for every personnel to understand clearly in order to change the sense of responsibility, attitude and in serving investors and enterprises.

In this plan, the tasks of each department and branch are clearly assigned, with the spirit of transfer from manager to serving enterprises and investors.

Specifically, the Department of Planning and Investment has to build an electronic port to support enterprises, gathering recommendations and proposals of enterprises for timely advising the provincial People's Committee for settlement; In particular, the provincial People's Committee shall direct the Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with the departments in implementing the plan to support enterprises, especially new enterprises or innovators; establishment of business support center. In addition, the provincial People's Committee also requested the provincial Tax Department to propose the most favorable mechanism for enterprises; reform administrative procedures, maximum reduction of time for tax payment and time for working with Tax Inspectorate; to receive feedback from enterprises and people on administrative procedures related to tax.

With many new directions, creating a good begginning for enterprises to start and develop, Leader of Tien Giang are deternined to build and develop the social economy with the spirit of “creating best conditions for business”, thus showing the intergration of Tien Giang province in the near future.

In the morning of April 20th, According to Tien Giang Television, Tien Giang People’s Committee held  Conference of Economic - urban development of 3 regions, western region. Mr. Le Van Huong - Provincial party committee secretary deputy, Chairman of People’s Committee, Head of Resolution no.10 of executive board - presided the Conference; Mr. Vo Van Binh - Provincial party committee secretary deputy, Head of Tien Giang member of the national assembly; Mr. Tran Thanh Duc - Deputy Chairman of Tien Giang People’s Committee and comrades in standing committee of districts, towns and wards in the west attended.             

At the conference, participants were reported about the economic-urban development of the west area of Tien Giang until 2020 and directions to 2030 such as agriculture, forestry, fishery, establishment of concentrated material areas, large scale production; to form concentrated breeding area and hi-tech agricultural zone.... Industry and industrial parks shall develop on basis of deploying potentials and advantages of traffic; Long Jiang shall be full until 2020. The tourism shall form, invest and develop Dong Thap Muoi ecotourism tour, Tien island, Cai Be floating market, Long Dinh mat weaving village, Tan Phuoc pineapple garden and historical sites in the area.

The economic - urban development program for the west area of Tien Giang in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, industry, commerce and service, etc.., which are closed with tasks and functions of every department. It contributes to the successful implementation of Resolution no.10 of provincial Party Executive Committee and to the socio-economic development of Tien Giang province.

Government had issued Decree 44/2017/NĐ-CP dated April 14th, 2017 on pay compulsory social insurance cost to labor accident, occupational disease fund from June 1st, 2017.

Reduction from 1% to 0,5% of wage of the social insurance cost prescribed at point a, b, c, d, đ and h of Clause 1 article 2 of social insurance law, except employee is the charwoman.

Reduction from 1% to 0,5% of basic wage of employee prescribed at point e of Clause 1 article 2 of social insurance law.

For the employee who signed labor contract from 01 month to under 03 months shall apply this regulation from Jan 1st, 2018.
